Pixie meadow

Every space turned into green, counts! However big or small.
This little public space used to be a lawn that required high maintenance.
We turned is into low input, high impact annual meadow.
Sowed in April, first flowers emerged in May and the meadow continued flowering until November.
It provides overwintering habitat for invertebrates until we redo it again in spring.
